He was saved by me while he was lying on the riverside breathing heavily, what happened to him

Balaka came to us in a very bad condition
His broken leg was swollen and necrotic, had a bad smell and worms come out of the intestines.
It was scary to imagine what he had been through.
Unfortunately my precious friend was gone forever
The world no longer deserved him and he was set free.
