I found Kayvan when I heard him cry.
He screamed nonstop and wouldn’t let anyone touch him.
I noticed a strange smell coming from Kayvan
I was sure it was a sign of an infection
I didn’t know if the inside of the foot would open again after the cast
We fought relentlessly for his life
He fought for a very long time.
And then Kayvan was healthy and was learning to walk on his 4 legs
