Her eyes were sad, her body was cold, and ticks were sucking her blood

She was wandering the side of the road rummaging through the trash.
Her body was cold, thin, malnourished and there were many ticks gnawing and sucking blood all over her body.
Of course I would take her to a safe place.
The hardest time had passed.
She deserved to be a true warrior, right?
